More documents from this week’s Annual General Meeting have been added to the website. Reports from Acting Chief Curtis Wilson, Councilor Chris Roberts and Band Manager Angie Sarsons are available from the “Meetings – AGM” page of the Private Documents section of the site.
The 2017 audited financial statements for the Campbell River Indian Band (the official name of the Wei Wai Kum First Nation) were posted before the meeting, along with the agenda.
The financial statements – and a copy of the PowerPoint presentation that was used to explain them during Sunday’s session – are on the Financial Reports page in the Private Documents section. This section is only accessible to registered members of the Wei Wai Kum First Nation. If you don’t have your log-in information, send your email address to christinesmith@weiwaikum.ca or subscribe to the weekly newsletter (scroll down on any web page) as we check that list for new email addresses for Band members.

At Monday’s AGM session, Council postponed the Band Manager’s report, the update on Lands and Housing, and some of the Council reports for another meeting in order to provide more time for members’ questions. More information about the AGM will be carried in subsequent newsletters, as will information about a community meeting in the New Year.
