On February 19th, 2019 the Wei Wai Kum First Nation Membership participated in an election and voted in a Chief Councillor (acclaimed) and three Councillor positions for 4-year term. The following day, February 20th, 2019 Chief Chris Roberts and Councillors Curtis J. Wilson, Shelly Haunch and newly elected Lorraine Henderson swore into their positions which were notarized by Lawyer Stuart Carstairs. Wei Wai Kum Band Office Staff and a handful community members were present as witness’.
