The Wei Wai Kum Nation is fortunate to have a number of top-performing athletes among its young members. Performance at this level requires travel at the regional, provincial and national levels, which can be very costly.
The Wei Wai Kum Council has decided that it will explore ways in which the Council or the Recreation Committee may provide more support to these athletes. In the meantime, Council wants Band Members to know that it will consider funding requests on a case-by-case basis.
