Berry picking, canning with the youth are the special events lined up for Elders next week. There’s also an opportunity to enjoy a move under the stars and take part in the Band’s first breakfast Open House.

Berry picking with the Wei Wai Kum Youth. All Elders are invited to participate.
Tuesday, Aug. 21, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Wei Wai Kum Youth Program will be hosting a workshop at the Thunderbird Hall to teach our youth how to preserve salmon and jam through canning. The class will be led by Roberta Latimer and will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All Elders are invited to participate.KDC will be hosting a “Movie Under the Stars,” on the evening of the 21st, If Elders are interested in attending we will go. Your Elder’s Worker wants to hear from you!
Open Office Afternoon – Thursday, Aug. 23, 1 – 3 p.m.
