Our BINGO fundraiser was successful this month thanks to all the great volunteers who come out to help! We are in need of donations for door prizes, Gilakas’la in advance to everyone who helps out in their own ways!
Come on out to our next Craft Night April 8 @ 5:30, it’s a fun group. Nalaga Avis O’Brien is teaching us how to weave beautiful Cedar baskets, and then we will be moving onto weaving hats.
Our Elder’s Easter Luncheon will be held at the Thunderbird Hall, April 24 at Noon with the Elders from Wei Wai Kai. We are looking forward to a lovely lunch and Easter entertainment with the children from Kwanwatsi.
The Elder’s group will be attending “Land of The Headhunters” at the Tidemark Theatre, April 12. Tickets are limited, so call Kristen to get your name on the list to attend
Are you an Elder (over 65) Who is interested in doing opening prayers and welcome ceremonies for the larger community? Please call Kristen to put your name on the list. Thank you!
Meal program – Do you or anyone you know need meals? For those 65 and over who have difficulty preparing food, who are caregivers to their spouses who have disability, or are ill, or have just come home from hospital. Meals will be frozen and delivered by Kristen as needed. Please spread the word in the community to keep Kristen informed of Elders who have been to hospital or are ill, in need of assistance for meals. Thank You.
