Elder’s activities this month include a wide variety of outings, breakfast open house at the Band Office, Hosting an Elder’s group from Chilliwack, B.C.
Breakfast Open House at the Band Office
Friday, Sept. 14, 9a.m. – 10a.m. Monthly continental breakfast Open House at the Band Office. Come spend some time with all your staff and enjoy a coffee and a bagel with all the fixins.
Everyone is welcome to come!
Elder’s Planning Meeting & Luncheon -Wednesday, Sept. 19 Noon
The Elder’s group will meet at Thunderbird Hall at noon. Please call Kristen if you need a ride or know an Elder who does. We want to have as many Elders attending as possible.
Qw’oqw’elitha Elder’s Visit Sept. 25
We will be hosting the Elders group from Chilliwack, BC, this will include a luncheon and a special outing.
Island-wide Elders Lunch Wednesday, Sept. 27 Location TBA
We will be taking the bus, call to reserve your seat!
Open Office Afternoon – Thursdays, 1 – 3 p.m.
Kristen invites all Elders to visit her for tea and cookies at her office in the Band Office building on most Thursdays from 1 – 3 p.m. Kristen is available for you every weekday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
CALL FOR DONATIONS: The Elder’s group will be holding a BINGO on October 2nd as a fundraiser to assist with travel expenses for the year, we are looking for New Items to offer as door prizes. Please contact Kristen if you wish to donate. Thank you in advance!
