Congratulations to 14-year-old Emoni Bush for winning one of Volleyball BC’s 17U Cup All-Star Awards. Only 12 of the awards were given this year.
Emoni, who only started playing volleyball three years ago, is the youngest player on the court for the Wave Volleyball Club’s 17U team. Coach Chris Berglund says of Emoni: “She pushes herself a lot and she knows where she wants to get to and she demands that of herself. But she also understands that other people have different goals and she tries to foster what other people’s goals are as well, no matter what their skill levels are like.”
