Security patrols of the reserve have resumed following a recent Band Council decision. Footprints Security is conducting three patrols a night, four nights a week.
Footprints is a Vancouver Island company with headquarters in Nanaimo. The company currently provides daily security services to the City of Campbell River. Security employees are fully licensed and bonded and certified in first aid, CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED).
Footprints has more than 800 employees and is currently hiring licenced security guards and mobile patrol drivers for full-time, part-time and casual positions in Campbell River. Council contracted Footprints after the previous service provider, Western Elite Security, closed operations early in the New Year.
