Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the electors of the Campbell River Indian Band will be held to nominate candidates for a By-Election for one (1) councillor position for the remainder of a 4 year term which will expire in February 2021. This position is presently vacant due to the resignation of Christopher Roberts.

Any elector, regardless of place of residence, may nominate or second candidates in person at the meeting or by mail. If an elector wishes to receive information from any candidate at this election, an elector can agree to have their address released. Mail-in nominations must include a signed and witnessed voter declaration form. Nomination forms must be received by the Electoral Officer before the end of the Nomination Meeting, 9 PM Thursday April 26, 2018.

8 AM to 8PM
Any voter may vote by Mail-In Ballot. On-reserve residents unable to vote in person may contact the Electoral Officer before June 6th to request a mail-in ballot package.
Copies of the Election Code of the Wei Wai Kum First Nation may be obtained at the Band Administration Office.
A List of Electors is posted at the Band Administration Office.
