Staffing Update

A warm welcome to Sheryl Miller, who will be taking on the role of the Youth Worker.

Sheryl was born and raised in Campbell River, mother of two, adventure seeker, concert enthusiast, coffee lover, and  hopeless optimist. Sheryl brings 12+ years’ experience working in a variety of capacities with youth and families. Sheryl has over 11 years working for SD72 as Educational Assistant and Youth Care Worker. Prior to that she worked with vulnerable and high risk youth in a variety of programs with John Howard Society North Island. These opportunities have provided a multitude of experience and have provided her with the skills necessary to work and engage positively with youth and families to build diverse and lasting connection. Sheryl is excited and honored to be joining the Wei Wai Kum First Nation team and collaborative organizations and building new meaningful and engaging relationships with all staff, youth, and families.
