It is with regret that the Wei Wai Kum administration accepts the resignation of newly appointed Youth Worker Julia Roberts, whose last day will be Friday, Jan. 5. Here is a message from Julia:
Yo everyone, it is with a heavy, heavy heart that I feel I must step down from the Youth Worker position in our community. I am on my healing journey and I want to be strong and the best possible me I could be; especially when it comes to your precious, gifted genganamen. This doesn’t stop my participation in our community, I hope to be very much involved in their lives in the future. I am very grateful and humbled to have been given the opportunity to spend time with your children. I want to say gilakas’la to all the parents who volunteer their time and energy into enriching the lives of our Youth and our Nation.
Julia will be at Thunderbird Hall Jan. 4 and 5, offering girls activities from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. then boys activities from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
